Sport Relief Community Cash Grant

A massive £62,500 cashpot is being given away by the Birmingham Mail and Sport Relief Community Cash to help benefit local community groups

The campaign is aimed at the people of Birmingham in a bid to make a real difference to the lives of the people that live here.

Community Cash grants of £500-£1,000 are available to small organisations in the Birmingham area that are doing great work to help local people living tough lives.

If this sounds like you, make sure you apply for a Community Cash grant now by completing the application form that you can find here on-line.

With the help of the Birmingham Community Foundation we’ll make sure the money reaches those who need it most.

Applying for a grant couldn’t be easier. There are two versions of the form available here, a pdf version (part 1 and part 2 ) and a word version . You can print the pdf version off, fill it in and send to: Birmingham Community Foundation, Nechells Baths, Nechells Park Road, Nechells, Birmingham B7 5PD

Alternatively, you can complete the word version on your computer, attach it to an email and send to the following email address: team@bhamfoundation.co.uk

The closing date for applications to be received is Friday March 5 so make sure you get your groups’ application form sent in as soon as possible.

Your application will then be put towards a grant allocation committee at the beginning of April, who will decide on the successful applications. The committee will be made up of representatives from the Birmingham Community Foundation, the Birmingham Mail Editor and Comic Relief’s Regional Grants Advisor for the West Midlands. The successful groups will be announced in the Birmingham Mail during April.
