At our heart is the endowment fund a pool of donor funds, which are invested and the income of which used to meet local needs, forever – "the gift that keeps on giving"

• Within modern society there is a desire to invest in the future, to set aside something from the good years in order to tide us over during the lean years...the Birmingham Foundation seeks to do just that by building a substantial Endowment Fund from which it can continually make donations from the interest / dividends

• Donations can take the form of cash, shares or securities. They can be made as a single donation, be pledged over several years or be detailed in your will and left as a legacy (see legacies or speak with your solicitor)

• Donating larger amounts will enable you to create a "Named Fund" or have the opportunity to see the interest / dividend allocated to a specific field of interest or geographic area.
